2020 marks the 125th birthday of the National Trust and to celebrate, Cliveden has published a list of 50 Things to do at Cliveden before you’re 125¾.
The list was compiled from suggestions from estate staff and volunteers, as well as the general public, who were asked on social media to submit their favourite things to do on the estate.
The list can be enjoyed by all ages and comprises suggestions for things to do across the whole estate, such as ‘Choose your favourite scent in the Water Garden’, and ‘Strike a pose and mimic one of the sculptures you find in the gardens’.
Pick up the list from Cliveden's Info Centre in the Walled Garden or download from Cliveden's website.
Cliveden welcomes group visits throughout the year, Monday to Friday. We recommend you allow three to four hours to see the formal gardens and have enough time to stop for lunch or tea. Your group will be met on arrival and our friendly staff will offer welcome leaflets to all the party to help them get the most out of their visit. Your greeter will also be able to direct you to key features and facilities and will assist the group organiser with ticket purchases as necessary. Group menus and garden and house tours available for pre-booked groups.
