An Evening of Comic Strip with Peter Richardson & Guest(s) is at Norden Farm Centre for the Arts on Tuesday 6 October at 8pm. Tickets are £21.50 (plus a £1.90 transaction booking fee).

Relive the brilliance of this comedy cohort with this special event – featuring screenings and a Q&A with Peter Richardson and Phil Cornwell.

Since the early 80s The Comic Strip have produced many classic comedy films which are currently being shown in UK cinemas to audiences of all ages. The Comic Strip features some of Britain’s favourite comedy actors. Some of these include Rik Mayall and Adrian Edmondson, famous for The Young Ones and Bottom, Jennifer Saunders of Absolutely Fabulous, Dawn French, famous for The Vicar of Dibley and stand up comedian Alexei Sayle.

The best of Rik Mayal featuring clips from Bad News, Mr Jolly and Fistful of Travellers Cheques.

The Red Nose of courage where Ex PM John Major (Ade Edmonson) runs away from the circus to become an MP. Under pressure from his Dad, the circus manager (Alexei Sayle) Major is obliged to work evenings as part of a clown act, even when he’s Prime Minister. But then he falls for the Opposition Leader (Dawn French).

The best of Stella Street with scenes from the hit BBC series starring Phil Cornwell and John Sessions with a live Q&A with Peter Richardson and Phil Cornwell.

And Four Men in a Car in which four salesman heading to a conference in Swindon have the journey from hell, involving road-rage, a snowstorm, food poisoning and a farmers’ wife wielding a shotgun. Starring Rik Mayal, Nigel Planer, Ade Edmonson and Peter Richardson.
