Diwali Masti is an evening of music and dance to celebrate the coming of Diwali, the Indian Festival of Lights. The event takes place at Norden Farm Centre for the Arts on Wednesday 4 November at 7.30pm. Tickets are £16 | £14 under 18s | Family and Friends (4 people) £56, (plus a £1.90 per transaction booking fee).
Hosted by Devika Shangari, the evening’s entertainment includes Munde Punjab De and Kudiyan Punjab De - the UK's Finest Bhangra Dancers and Dhol Players. A professional, high-energy group based in London. They specialise in traditional Punjabi folk dance, live dhol beats and boliyan - a graceful, rhythmic and feminine dance art form from Southern India.
Bunty & Jimmy bring classic Bollywood songs. The duo love the golden oldies originally sung by Lata, Rafi and Kishore but equally enjoy some of the latest songs by Udit Narayan and Kumar Sanu.
Browse stalls in the foyer including food from KaNa Homecooked – serving authentic Punjabi cuisine. Plus - henna, jewellery and pre-loved saris. Not forgetting colouring and candle decorating for younger audience members.
