Hugh Turner is a superbly exciting guitarist. His playing style steeped in the blues and combined with the funkier side of jazz, creates a sonically exciting soundscape that fizzes with power, groove and stunning musicality.

Hugh's performances have been a huge success at jazz clubs and music venues throughout the UK for over two decades.

Tonight he'll play a varied programme of jazz , Latin, swing and groove-fuelled repertoire, with his trio of sublime bass guitarist Jerry Soffe and powerhouse drummer Steve Wyndham.

Windsor Jazz Club is a monthly jazz club night, every third Sunday, in the relaxing and atmospheric Hope live music bar on Alma Road in Windsor. The club brings new artists to the town, playing a mixture of well-loved jazz standards and original compositions. The evening starts at 8pm (doors at 7:30) and presents an hour and a half of live music with an interval halfway. The music finishes around 10pm and the venue is open until 11pm for socialising. Come along to meet other lovers of live music, jazz followers, aficionados and musicians. The bar is well stocked with a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, soft drinks, juices, hot drinks and snacks. We look forward to meeting you.
