A Quest for fun a Norden Farm in Maidenhead this school holiday

Norden Farm Centre for the Arts presents Quest Family Fest this Spring holiday. The family arts festival is packed full of shows, activities, workshops, films and more. Plus, their popular Explore taster workshops day – featuring over 35 sessions on Friday 3 April.

Families and children can get involved in Quest Family Fest from Tuesday 31 March – Saturday 11 April. Tickets for all live family shows are £13.50 | £11.50 under 16s | Family and Friends (4 people) £45 (unless otherwise stated).

Kicking off the fun is An Event featuring LEGO® Bricks! from The BRICK People. The team will be bringing a wide range of LEGO® brick related free-flow sessions on Tuesday 31 March at 10.30am, 12pm, 2pm, 3.30pm and 5pm. Tickets are £6.50 per person. The event features self-guided activities including mosaic building and random brick building, along with tables featuring build challenges for all ages to get involved in.

Long Nose Puppets present Flyaway Katie on Wednesday 1 April at 11.30am and 2pm. Perfect for ages 2 – 7 years, the show is bursting with colour, movement, surprises and puppets.

Explore Day on Friday 3 April is a day crammed full of activities for children and their families. The one hour workshops are all £5 per person or buy an Explore Pass (4 workshops) for £18.

Have a go at something different – from Circus Skills to Special Effects Make Up; Pre School Craft & Play to Magic; Digital Animation to Djembe Drumming; and Street Dance to Silkscreen Tote Bags. There’s also the chance to Make and Decorate Chocolate Lollipops; have fun making Ceramic Animal Pots; and take part in Drama sessions.

Holmes and Watson and The Curious Case of the Masked Magician is on Saturday 4 April at 2pm. Presented by The Great Baldini and Peter Clifford. Tickets are £15.50 | £13.50 under 16s | Family and Friends (4 people) £54. Age guidance 7+ years. Sherlock Holmes must help solve the Masked Magician’s disappearance. With an excitable Wattson in tow, Holmes plunges into the secret world of Edwardian magic.

Olaf Falafel’s Stupidest Super Stupid Show is on Tuesday 7 April at 11.30am and 3.15pm. Join Olaf for an hour of kid’s comedy which will be the stupidest he has ever let trickle from his brain. Expect jokes, more jokes and truth-telling cheese.

Catch the adventure of the deliciously smelling The Gingerbread Man from Tuesday 7 – Saturday 11 April at 11.30am and 2pm. Age guidance 3+ years. Up and down and into town our Gingerbread Man must use his wits to escape anyone who finds him tasty. Join his epic quest and meet the bravest biscuit of all times!

If that isn’t enough, there is the chance for 8 – 14 years olds to immerse themselves in our four-day art camp, Art Daze, from Tuesday 7 – Friday 10 April 10am – 4pm. Tickets are £180 | £160 for RBWM residents.

Plus, catch Relaxed family film screenings of Goat (PG) and Pixar’s latest film Hoppers (U). Get creative at Arts and Crafts Sessions and escape the action in the Camp Out – Sensory Chill Out Space in the Gallery.

You can make a day of your visit with lunch, drinks and snacks from the Café Bar – where there are plenty of books, games and colouring to keep children entertained.
