Creative children’s school holiday summer camps
Norden Farm Centre for the Arts is the place to keep children entertained this summer. They have the perfect opportunity for youngsters try something new in either a Circus Camp, Art Camp or Theatre Camp.
Circus Camp is led by And Circus. It’s the chance to enjoy four days of learning incredible circus skills. Learn to walk on stilts, ride a unicycle, walk the tightrope and perform on a trapeze! Circus Camp is suitable for ages 7 - 14 years. It runs between Tuesday 29 July - Friday 1 August between 10am - 4pm. £200 | £180 Advantage Card Holders.
Join artist Lucy Carpenter on a creative art adventure in Art Camp. Combining art, movement and play to provide a stimulating and creative week of fun. With a sensational exhibition at the end of the week! It is suitable for ages 8 - 11 years and runs from Tuesday 5 August - Friday 8 August between 10am - 4pm. £160 | £145 Advantage Card Holders.
Make a play in 4 days! Theatre Camp is led by Sideways Drama. Join them to dive into the world of theatre, writing, directing and star in a brand new play! Suitable for ages 8 - 14 years, from Tuesday 12 August - Friday 15 August between 10am - 4pm. £160 | £145 Advantage Card Holders.
After the workshops the fun continues. Book to see a film or join a post course workshop to extend the day. A Minecraft Movie (PG) is showing on Tuesday 29 July and Wednesday 6 August, Lilo and Stitch (U) is on Wednesday 30 July and Tuesday 5 August and How to Train Your Dragon (PG) is on Tuesday 12 August at 4.15pm. Tickets are £5.
Workshops are at 4.15pm and include Musical Theatre on Thursday 31 July. Tickets are £7.50. Bollywood Bhangra on Thursday 7 August. Tickets are £7.50. Arts and Crafts on Wednesday 13 August. Tickets are £5 and Singing on Thursday 14 August. Tickets are £7.50.
Lunch is available to book from the café bar for £8.50 and includes a soft drink and a tub of ice cream.
