Prize winning pianist joins Norden Farm to conclude Summer Piano Series

Lithuanian-born pianist Gabrielé Sutkuté comes to Maidenhead for the Summer Piano Series (4 of 4): Gabrielé Sutkuté at Norden Farm Centre for the Arts on Wednesday 9 September at 7.30pm. Tickets are £19 | Under 18’s free.

Gabrielé has been the recipient of many international awards and has performed in many prestigious venues throughout Europe - including Wigmore Hall, Bridgewater Hall and Lithuanian National Philharmonic. In addition to being a soloist, Gabrielé frequently performs with chamber ensembles and symphony orchestras.

She is a winner of twenty-one international piano competitions where she received numerous special awards. Most recently awarded 1st prize at the 74th Royal Over-Seas League Music Competition and was selected as an artist for the Kirckman Concert Society. Gabrielé has also received the Lithuanian Republic President’s certificate of appreciation six times.

Gabrielé has a First Class Honours Bachelor of Music Degree, A Master of Arts Degree from the Royal Academy of Music and in 2023, graduated from the Artist Diploma course at the Royal College of Music.

Gabrielé Sutkuté’s wide-ranging virtuoso programme ends in spectacular fashion with Ravel’s own transcription of his orchestral showpiece.

The full programme for the evening includes Debussy’s Suite bergamasque, Scriabin’s Sonata No.4 in F sharp, Brahms’ 4 Piano Pieces, Op.119, Poulenc’s  Improvisations, Liszt’s Ballade No.2 and Ravel’s La valse.
