Tribute band return with their celebratory show

Returning to Norden Farm for their annual visit. The Alter Eagles are at Norden Farm Centre for the Arts on Thursday 10 July at 8pm. Tickets are £24.50.

The band are bringing with them a brand new theatre show for 2025 that celebrates their 22nd year of touring. Since their debut gig in 2003, the Alter Eagles have established themselves as one of the country’s top tribute acts, headlining at theatres all over the country, playing a mix of old and new Eagles songs.

They perform the whole repertoire of Eagles tracks, from tasteful country rock – complete with full harmonies – through to hard rocking numbers, showcasing the band’s trademark duelling electric guitars.

Lauded for the accuracy, The Alter Eagles are a tribute to the Eagles, pure and simple. They play all the hits, so expect the classics including Hotel California, Take It Easy, One Of These Nights, Take It To The Limit and Life In The Fast Lane.  Alongside Henley, Frey and Walsh solo numbers like Boys of Summer, The Heat is On and Rocky Mountain Way, along with some deep cuts and plenty of sweet country harmonies and rocking twin guitars.

The band members are Steve McCormak (vocals, guitar), Alan Tomkins (keyboards, guitar, vocals), Rob Beattie (bass, acoustic guitar, vocals), Mike Bradley (guitar, vocals) and Ed Chisholm (drums and percussion).
