About the speakers

Alan Titchmarsh

Alan Titchmarsh is one of the UK’s best-known gardeners, broadcasters and writers. With a career spanning more than 40 years, he began his professional journey in horticulture before becoming a respected gardening journalist and household name through popular television programmes including Gardeners’ World, Ground Force and Love Your Garden.

As an accomplished author and presenter, Alan has encouraged people of all ages and backgrounds to discover the benefits and enjoyment of gardening, sharing his extensive knowledge and enthusiasm for the natural world with audiences across the country.

Adam Scott

Adam Scott is the Gardens & Nursery Manager at Windsor Castle, overseeing the management, development and long-term stewardship of its historic gardens and landscapes. An experienced horticulturist with a strong background in garden design, Adam has played a central role in the redevelopment of the Venus Garden and its ongoing growth.

His expertise spans planting design, biodiversity enhancement and sustainable horticultural practices. Through his work, Adam helps ensure that Windsor Castle’s gardens continue to honour their historic character while responding to the environmental challenges and opportunities of the future.
