You may know the Jazz Vanguard Trio from their regular performances at Windsor's Old Court Artspace. Three always inspiring players who present varied repertoire with a focus on groove and invention.

Guitarist Nicolas Meier has carved a reputation out as one of the world's most original and uniquely talented guitarists. Drawing from a love of Turkish, Eastern & Middle Eastern music, Flamenco, Tango and more - all mixed with jazz - Meier's versatility and musical fluency extends well beyond that, even. His talents drew the attention of rock guitar legend, Jeff Beck, who made Nicolas a mainstay in The Jeff Beck Group on two world tours.

Windsor Jazz Club is a monthly jazz club night, every third Sunday, in the relaxing and atmospheric Hope live music bar on Alma Road in Windsor. The club brings new artists to the town, playing a mixture of well-loved jazz standards and original compositions. The evening starts at 8pm (doors at 7:30) and presents an hour and a half of live music with an interval halfway. The music finishes around 10pm and the venue is open until 11pm for socialising. Come along to meet other lovers of live music, jazz followers, aficionados and musicians. The bar is well stocked with a range of alcoholic and non-alcholic drinks, soft drinks, juices, hot drinks and snacks. We look forward to meeting you.
