1423 China Kitchen offers the finest authentic and contemporary Chinese cuisine and is ranked the best Chinese restaurant in Windsor on TripAvisor.
Situated just 50 metres away from Windsor Castle, the restaurant is located in the cobble streets of Guildhall Island and occupies a historic building with a rich heritage spanning six centuries making it the second oldest building in Windsor after the Castle. Specially crafted tables, chairs, and utensils imported from China create an authentic Chinese ambience, offering a nostalgic dining experience
The restaurant showcases diverse Chinese cuisines, including Sichuan, Cantonese and Northern dishes, catering to various tastes. 1423 offers diners an authentic and unique menu, including vegetarian and vegan options, encompassing the full range of Chinese flavours. Food can be enjoyed by eating in or for takeaway.
The food is healthy and good quality, with no MSG. As many ingredients as possible are sourced locally and all eggs are free range.
With spacious dining areas spread across three floors, the restaurant provides ample room to accommodate large groups, allowing diners to immerse themselves in a traditional and charming environment.
