The Braywood is a contemporary British restaurant and destination cocktail bar, just minutes from Bray, Maidenhead and Windsor. With its striking architecture, seasonal menus and warm hospitality, it has become a destination for refined dining and exceptional service. Led by Head Chef Sam Brennan and General Manager Thomas Gammella, The Braywood is part of WSH Restaurants, a group known for thoughtfully revitalising distinctive spaces.

An open fireplace offers a warm welcome as guests arrive, setting the tone for a relaxed drink before dinner or an elegant afternoon or evening in the bar.

The cocktail menu features a carefully curated selection of classic favourites alongside inventive house creations, while floor-to-ceiling windows open onto the enclosed terrace that comes into its own during the warmer months.

The Braywood restaurant

Seating 70 guests, the restaurant balances intimacy with a light, open feel. Natural daylight streams through expansive windows onto cosy banquette seating, while views across the dining terrace provide an inviting connection to the surrounding countryside.

At the heart of the experience is a commitment to genuine hospitality. General Manager Thomas Gammella, winner of the 2022 Gold Service Scholarship, leads a knowledgeable front-of-house team dedicated to delivering attentive, personalised service.

The Braywood's fine dining seasonal menus

Head Chef Sam Brennan celebrates quality British produce through refined yet approachable cooking. The à la carte menu is designed for flexible, sociable dining, giving guests the freedom to share a selection of small plates or choose larger signature dishes.

Alongside the main menu, a changing daily lunch menu allows the kitchen to make the most of seasonal produce and ingredients at their best. Available from Tuesday to Saturday, it offers a more traditional two- or three-course dining experience, with dishes shaped by ingredient availability and the kitchen’s latest inspiration. On Sundays, guests can enjoy The Braywood’s classic Sunday roast in its elegant countryside setting.

Complementing the food is an extensive 600-bin international wine list, bringing together renowned producers and exciting discoveries from around the world. With more than 20 wines available by the glass, guests can explore new favourites whether visiting for a relaxed lunch, Sunday roast, celebratory dinner or special occasion.

Road Directions

The Braywood is just a few minutes from either Bray or Maidenhead, and not far from Windsor and Ascot. From Junction 8/9 of the M4, take the A308(M) towards Maidenhead and Bray, then at the roundabout, take the A330 towards Ascot. The road branches at Touchen End – take the right turn on to the B3024 into Paley Street.
