Located in the charming village of Sunninghill, just minutes from both Windsor Castle and Ascot Racecourse, The Circle Gallery is an independent, family-run gallery specialising in original contemporary art and bespoke picture framing. For over 35 years we have welcomed visitors from across the UK and beyond, helping them discover artwork that captures the beauty, heritage and character of the local area.

Our carefully curated collection features original paintings by leading British artists, with a particular emphasis on scenes inspired by Royal Ascot, Windsor Castle, the surrounding Berkshire countryside and the equestrian lifestyle for which the region is renowned. From dynamic racehorse paintings that capture the excitement and energy of Royal Ascot to atmospheric depictions of Windsor Castle and the Long Walk, our artwork offers a lasting reminder of one of Britain's most iconic destinations.

We are proud to represent Simon Wright, the first official Artist in Residence at Royal Ascot, whose expressive paintings celebrate the movement, colour and atmosphere of the world-famous race meeting. The Circle Gallery is located in the heart of Sunninghill, just minutes from Royal Ascot, Windsor Great Park and Windsor Castle.

From Windsor: Follow the A332 towards Ascot, then take the A30 into Sunninghill. The journey takes approximately 15–20 minutes, depending on traffic. From Royal Ascot Racecourse: The gallery is just 5 minutes by car. From Legoland Windsor Resort: Approximately 15 minutes by car.

Public Transport Directions

The Circle Gallery is easily accessible by public transport from Windsor and the surrounding area.

The gallery is located on Sunninghill High Street, just a short walk from the nearest bus stop. Regular Thames Valley Buses 1 and 1A services run between Windsor High Street and Sunninghill, passing through the beautiful Windsor Great Park, with a journey time of approximately 30 minutes.

The nearest railway stations are:

Ascot Station – approximately 5 minutes by taxi or a 20-minute walk. Sunningdale Station – approximately 5 minutes by taxi or a 20-minute walk. Both stations have regular South Western Railway services to and from London Waterloo and are easily reached from Windsor by bus or taxi.
