Step into the raw and gritty world of Johnny Cash’s prison era with an electrifying show that has captivated audiences for two decades. Johnny Cash Roadshow is at Norden Farm Centre for the Arts on Friday 17 July at 8pm. Tickets are £25.50.

Set on a Folsom Prison-style stage, the production brings Cash’s most iconic concerts to life, capturing the energy of his legendary shows behind bars. 

Award-winning Clive John, hailed as an exceptional Johnny Cash tribute, channels the spirit of the legend with warmth and authenticity. He is joined by Ashley Cavell as June Carter and an ensemble of world-class musicians on double bass, Fender Telecaster, acoustic guitars, drums, piano and trumpet, plus spine-tingling four-part harmonies. 

Clive John is an established artist in his own right, with eight albums of original material under his belt. His seventh album was nominated for Best British Country Album of the Year and the single was a number 1 for eight weeks in the Hot Disc Country Music Charts. Many of Clive’s original songs have achieved top five chart success over the years. 

Enjoy timeless classics including Walk the Line, Ring of Fire, Jackson, Orange Blossom Special and A Boy Named Sue, alongside highlights from the darker American Recordings, including Hurt and songs from The Highwaymen.
