Comedian Sukh Ojla has entered the Aunty Years

Sukh keeps being told that she’s successful. Sukh Ojla – The Aunty Years is at Norden Farm Centre for the Arts on Thursday 4 July at 7.30pm. Tickets are £18.

She’s been on telly, had a book published and event been trolled on twitter. So why does she still feel like a toddler who has lost their Mum in Tescos?

Join Sukh as she approaches 40 and figures out middle age, pretending to be a grown up and the joy of a Tupperware set.

Sukh Ojla is a comedian, actor and writer. After school, she attended drama school at the Court Theatre Training Company. She began to perform stand-up comedy in 2016 and she wrote and starred in the play Pyar Actually in 2017. Her first book Sunny, was released in 2022.

As a comedian, Sukh has performed on many TV shows including BBC2’s The Big Asian Stand-Up Show, Dave’s Comedy Guide to Life, ITV’s Jonathan Ross’ Comedy Club, Comedy Central Live and features on Sky’s Dating No Filter.

In 2019, Sukh took her debut show For Sukh’s Sake to Edinburgh. It received rave reviews including 5 stars from Funny Women. Last year, Sukh returned to her nationwide tour of Life Sukhs to critical acclaim.

Her television credits include Channel 4’s Feel Good, Netflix’s Bridgerton, Channel 4’s The End of the Fking World and GameFace, BBC1’s Hospital People, Channel 4’s Black Mirror and BBC1’s Eastenders.
