In the summer, we shall be performing our popular summer family afternoon concert in Newbold Church, Popeswood Road, Binfield RG42 4AN on Sunday 22nd June 2025 at 4pm. It will feature Rimsky Korsakov's Scheherazade, Chabrier's España and Wijeratne's exciting Concerto for Tabla (a type of Indian drum) with soloist Alok Verma. The concert will be preceded by a free Tabla Drumming Workshop led by Alok at 3pm. Do bring a picnic and share some time with members of the orchestra from 2pm too if you like. We hope you will invite other friends and family along to this special afternoon too.
Tickets at £15 adults, £5 children/students can be purchased from the box office section of our website: https://wmso.org.uk/summer2025 or at the door subject to availability. We recommend that you book early online to avoid disappointment.
