Jazz Vanguard return to The Old Court this autumn in their monthly Sunday evening slot. They're a fantastic group of top-notch jazz musicians who are making waves on the jazz scene. They're not just limited to jazz; they've performed in all sorts of genres, and their members have graced some of the biggest venues like Ronnie Scotts, The Cadogan Hall, and even The Royal Albert Hall!
Led by drummer James Ballantine and the bass maestro Dave Suttle, they've got a knack for collaborating with world-class musicians like Pete Roth, Nicolas Meier, Steve Pretty, Tim Sanders, Tom Neil and Stefan Redtenbacher. It's like a musical dream team!
What makes Jazz Vanguard truly special is their ability to curate a diverse program of music that spans all eras and subgenres within the jazz world. They're not afraid to experiment and push the boundaries, and their performances are always a treat for the ears.
