September Racing at Ascot

About

The September Racing Weekend presents two days of fantastic Flat racing. On the opening day the racing gets underway with two potentially informative two-year-old races that have produced Group-level performers in recent years including Speak In Colours and Prince Eiji.

Later in the card two valuable Class 2 handicaps are the feature events, including the Victoria Racing Club Handicap which celebrates our close ties with the home of the world-famous Melbourne Cup.

The final day features seven competitive contests with the racing highlight being the Lavazza Stakes, a valuable Heritage Handicap run over a mile-and-a-half. A memorable renewal of the race was won by Chalk Stream for Her Majesty The Queen in 2021.
