Children and Christmas Trees at Windsor Great Park

There’s nothing more festive than taking time out to choose the perfect Christmas tree, and where better to find one that’s ideal for you than from the heart of the Royal Forest in Windsor Great Park.

On sale from 30 November through to 22 December 2018, Christmas Trees, wreaths, fresh boughs of holly and mistletoe as well as a wide selection of decorations can be purchased from the Windsor Forest Depot. With helpful advice from the on-hand foresters who grow the trees, shoppers can choose from traditional Norway Spruce or non-drop Nordmann Fir trees, ranging in height from 3 feet to 25 feet. All trees on sale are freshly cut and certified by the Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC©) with the majority grown on the Windsor Estate.

Now is also a good time to order your winter firewood and kindling. Windsor Great Park offers a mixture of oak, beech and birch, all of which has been naturally seasoned for a year in Windsor Great Park. Accredited to the FSC© and the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) standards, our woods are being managed to the highest social, ecological and economically sustainable standards. Firewood can be purchased in bags of logs and kindling from £5.00 each or in larger quantities (loads and half loads) which are available for free delivery within a 10 mile radius.
