Bel and the Dragon Windsor

Bel & The Dragon Windsor is steeped in old English heritage. This historic restaurant and tea room has been serving food and drink since the 11th Century.

Just a stone's throw from the shops, theatres and the gates of Windsor Castle and a short hop across the footbridge from Eton College, Bel & The Dragon Windsor is the perfect place to take time out to relax and enjoy the superb food and drink on offer.

Head Chef Mo and Group Head Chef Ronnie Kimbugwe, formerly Sous Chef of Gordon Ramsay at Claridges, have worked together to create a menu that boasts the best in modern British cuisine, using only the freshest seasonal produce, sourced locally.

The Afternoon Tea is a must - everything that traditional afternoon tea should be and lots more. Enjoy the outside terrace seating with a castle-backdrop.

The stunning interior was designed by talented Designer Nicola Harding, creating a contemporary décor whilst retaining a wealth of original features - natural stonewalling, Inglenook fireplaces and oak beams.

Wine lovers will be warmly welcomed to enjoy one of the best cellars in Berkshire, stocked with the finest wines from the very best vintages, at amazing prices.

Overall our experience was actually pretty good and we felt that the staff definitely deserved a tip. However, I felt it prudent to check that this would be shared with the waitering staff so I... Read full review
