Eton College Dorney Lake has been the epicentre for high performance rowing and flat water canoeing in the UK since its construction in 1999. Open to the public all year round, come and experience the awe inspiring 2,200m Olympic Standard Lake or explore the 400 acres of Arboretum Parkland boasting over 30,000 trees of both native and exotic species.
Amongst the avenues of trees, you can discover The Millennium Avenue of Lime Trees with vistas over Windsor Castle, or unearth the sculptures and statues hidden amongst the wild flower meadows.
Following the coaching paths around the lake, there is a flat 3.1 mile walk on a smooth tarmacked surface, ideal for buggies and recreational cycling (we are unable to allow speed cycling or speed skating).
Stop off half way round at The Boathouse where you can find, Mr Brightside Vintage Coffee Van serving hot and cold drinks and light snacks (subject to opening times) and Toilet Facilities.
